The Music Man is a comedic valentine musical that centers around the clever con-man, Harold Hill, as he tries to con the town of River City, Iowa into enrolling their children in a boy's band with himself as the leader (despite not knowing how to play a note himself). However, the lovely Marian the Librarian woos Harold and compels him to reconsider his evil ways, causing Harold's plans to quickly veer off course.
